Cooling Modules

 

The cooling modules consists of electro pneumatic three-way valves, two units of heat exchangers for controlling engine coolant and oil rated 150kW which will marshal by independent temperature controllers to control the engine coolant and oil temperature during testing. Two thermocouples will be installed to monitor the oil and the water temperature from the engine. The accuracy of the temperature control setting will be within ± 2 Degree C.

Electro-pneumatic valves with air filter and regulator, air hoses, copper pipes and junction box. The input control signal is 4-20mA DC corresponds to 0% to 100% valve opening.

 

Engine & Dyno Beds

 

The benefit of this engine bed is any engine can be hooked up on the test bed with less modification on the engine rubber mounting, engine flywheel adapter and oil adapter.

Hakita’s designed and XYZ axis of Engine Bed with the main focus of having precise and easy alignment for the shaft coupling between the engine and the dynamometer. The Engine Bed has the advantages of a low installation cost and enabling rapid engine change, allowing maximum accessibility to the engine and the ability to support engines with a wide range of physical sizes and power.

The Engine consists of base frame, sub-frame, height adjustable stand, engine bracket, engine rubber mountings and accessories. The base frame and sub-frame is designed such away to ease length and width adjustment by means of sliding supports stands. The sliding groove machined on the base frame and sub-frame rail enables the sub-frame and height adjustable stand to move along the way to suit with engine mounting position.

T-slot nut is used to hold tighten between the adjustable stand sub-frame and between the sub-frame and base frame.

The Engine Bed is as static unit for direct floor fixing in the test cell using wall plug, chemical bolts, grounting and air spring. Metal Arc welding makes the main structure of S45C mild steel with all the parts jointed. Heavy-duty protective coatings paint, misty grey (1457), is sprayed thoroughly for the metal finishing for corrosion protection due to resistant painting and galvanized and oiled spindles and nuts.

Fuel Tank

 

Hakita Engineering offers a wide range of above ground rectangular diesel fuel and gasoline fuel storage tanks come standard with a level gauge and a 1” fill connection. Models are available in sizes ranging from 40 liters to 200 liters

Standard features are:

Emisison Analyzers

 

5-gas analyzer for real-time monitoring of engine’s emissions during chassis or engine dynamometer testing. Large integral LCD panels. Simple user interface includes both manual and automatic zeroing, low-flow warnings, out-of-range detection, etc. 5-gas analyzer includes O2 (0-25%), CO (0-10%), CO2 (0-20%), HCs (0-2000 ppm) and NOX (0-5000 ppm) readouts. Lambda and AFR are also calculated and displayed when using the (all digital) link to a PC running the optional data acquisition software. (Requires an available RS-232 serial port and H-DAQ software).

Integral vacuum pumps and water separator make the system compact and easy to maintain. Flexible stainless steel tailpipe ”snifer” probe and 25’ hose includes quick disconnect coupling. Less than 5-minutes warm-up time with typical accuracy of ±1% (or better) of full scale. Fast response time <9 seconds to 90% of actual. 12-volt lighter plug DC operation allows the EMS to go on the road for real world emissions monitoring.
